NOW That's What I Call Customer Feedback!
After our last Online Marketing Magic event I asked for feedback and got the usual “Great!” or “Thanks, really enjoyed it!”
Below is the feedback I got from Steve... now that’s what I call feedback! The next event is on 22nd July 2009, it’s FREE so book your seat here, park at the Victoria Street car park, not on street! You’ll find a map and directions here. Book your lunch as you arrive and it will be ready at lunch time! Thank you and over to Steve for his feedback... Jon, Jon, Settle back in that chair, pour yourself a Bushmills Black Bush and savour a day to be remembered - you did more than good - it was excellent. This is my feedback: Overview: The day captured ( with you at the helm and conductor of the orchestra) the essence of social business networking - a highly valuable day of sharing experience, a day of generosity of information and the template for bigger things in the future. Great! Things I liked: 1. The variety and quality of speakers - a superb mix of talents - unusual and stimulating - introducing Christine and Jo was a masterstroke 2. The easy informality - made possible by the audience knowing they were in the presence of people with real ability - unlike other things of this nature the audience knew immediately they would hugely benefit from being there. 3. The 'live' online element and feedback - making Windsor feel it was part of the bigger web universe - once again reinforcing this whole notion of 'connectivity' 4. The venue itself was just right - big enough but small enough 5. The interaction of speaker and audience - good points arose. 6. Actually, the type of person who attended - friendly, sociable – but businesslike at the same time 7. The short presentation time - meant you could concentrate with the right level of intensity without nodding off. 8. Good start/finish timing - next time to finish at around 3 to avoid overruns - but the day would have been harmed if the stopwatch dictated the day - the overruns were worth the wait perhaps cutting down on 1 speaker slot? Things to work on: - mainly organisational + practical things 1. Suggesting that people parked in the King Edwards Car Park - on a pay by ticket basis - Victoria Road is a Pay & Display which when you're in a hurry you may not have cash on you. I arrived late and Windsor is a nightmare for parting if you don't know it. 2. Kitchen is not used to so many people descending on them all at once 3. Give postcode + big map on website to find the venue Suggestions: 1. Kitchen - set up a sandwich buffet on the top level at lunchtime - factor in say £5-£8 per head for lunchtime sandwiches + a cup of coffee/tea 2. Consider reducing the entrance price to say £50 ph 3. Give clearer explanation on the Windsor parking situation - 2 hour limit on meters – 4. Offer delegates incentives to join your other web schemes – 5. Set up delegate attendance sheet with email addresses for future interaction Hope this helps Many thanks for giving me the chance to come along. Best wishes and congratulations!!
